SERVICE OF DOCUMENTS:
Bailiff Service:
- You will need to locate the correct Bailiffs Office (location where documents are to be served)
- Payment for service of process (Court documents) should be made directly to the Bailiff of the respective Magistrates Court, for example: "Bailiff Brisbane" or "Bailiff Townsville"
- The Service Fee is per defendant, for example one defendant $ 36.50 or two defendants $ 36.50 x 2 = $ 73.00
- You will need to forward full payment and TWO FILED COPIES per defendant to the Bailiff
- SERVICE FEE is the first fee viewed on the screen, ENFORCEMENT FEE appears in the far column, for example:

LOCATING THE CORRECT BAILIFF:
For Service of Process in the following Court Districts: BRISBANE, BEENLEIGH, IPSWICH, TOOGOOLAWAH, CABOOLTURE, WYNNUM, REDCLIFFE, HOLLAND PARK & RICHLANDS or GREATER BRISBANE AREA send directly to the Bailiffs Office Brisbane.
Payment for SERVICE by this office should be made payable to Bailiffs Office Brisbane.

For Service of Process in all other Court Districts send the process to relevant Bailiff for Service and make payment for SERVICE of process to the respective Bailiff

Payments for SERVICE of process by POLICE should be made to the Officer in Charge (OC) of the Police Station where service is to be effected, for example "O.C Police Dysart"

ENFORCEMENT FEES - WARRANTS
Payment of the ENFORCEMENT Fee for a Warrant must be made payable to the MAGISTRATES COURT that issued the Warrant (Not the Bailiff)

Additional Fees may be payable in addition to the prescribed Service or Enforcement Fees. When calculating a service or enforcement fee please remember to add any excess charges if necessary as described in the LEGEND provided below. It is highly recommended that the relevant "Court Registry" be contacted to confirm the correct ferry, barge and boat charges or plane fares as there may be increases from time to time.
